Rival Schools teamed up with the Vancouver Opera, and the Vancouver Art Gallery to create this rare art experiment that explores a new way of telling story through projection.
Rival Schools, creative digital content agency, created the Project NightFire artistic piece from the ground up: concept, design, implementation, lighting, and animation. Rival Schools wanted to showcase this story in a live event. And what better way to tell a story than to project it on to an architectural landmark. An fun and impactful way of telling a story.
The Vancouver Opera helped make Project NightFire possible by obtaining the event permits, coordinating the music license and connecting the right people.
Vancouver Art Gallery, the centre of Vancouver’s creative talent, is our landmark canvas. The people at the Vancouver Art Gallery were kind enough to offer their services to make this event a success.
